Dr. Ryan & Brandi Anderson
Dr. Anderson grew up and met his wife Brandi in Bagley, Minnesota. They both attended BSU in Bemidji. Dr. Anderson received his DDS degree from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry in 2000 and has been practicing in Wadena since 2001. Ryan enjoys the opportunity to learn and incorporate all the new technology that dentistry has to offer. He stays busy by being on the board of the Wadena Lions Club and the Board of Directors for Astera Health. Brandi is a real estate agent but spends a lot of time keeping the office running smoothly, so you may get a chance to meet her during your visit. Ryan and Brandi enjoy everything outdoors from hunting, fishing and camping to snowmobiling and skiing.
Kale Hermanson, DDS
Dr. Kale and his wife Betsy moved back up north to Baxter, where he grew up, after living in the Twin Cities. Kale did his undergraduate studies in Biology at Concordia College in Moorhead, before graduating from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry in 2018. He enjoys meeting and working with people from all different backgrounds, and helping patients to achieve their dental goals while maintaining good oral health. He is dedicated to always being available to answer questions and serving patients in any way he can. In his free time, Kale enjoys spending time outside with his wife and their dog, hiking, biking, camping, and doing anything near water. Kale is also a huge Minnesota Vikings fan and tries to attend as many games as he can!
Jason Allred, Advanced Dental Therapist
Jason has been a resident of Wadena since 2005 along with his wife Michelle and two children Aiden and Avery. Jason graduated from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry Dental Therapy Program in December 2012. Jason and his family spend most of their time fishing, hunting and playing sports. Jason's favorite quote is: "If the mind were simple enough for us to understand, we would be too simple to understand it" - author unknown.
Diana, Office Manager
Diana grew up in the Twin Cities but has made rural Minnesota her home for nearly 30 years. She found it to be very rewarding to raise her 2 boys in the New York Mills area. Her husband married a city girl and turned her into an extra farm hand when needed! In her free time she enjoys being at the lake/cabin, skiing, biking, swimming, reading and traveling with her family and friends. She enjoys the fast pace and working with patients in the dental industry.
Lanae, RDH
Lanae is a Registered Dental Hygienist. She is a Sebeka native and graduated from Minnesota State Community and Technical College-Moorhead in 2014. Lanae now lives in rural Sebeka with her husband Tyler. She loves helping her patients learn how to maintain a healthy smile! She spends many hours watching baseball games in the Summer and enjoys cooking and spending time with friends and family.
Breanna, RDH, RDA, CDA
Breanna grew up in Fargo, ND. She recently got married to her husband Thomas and they live in the Perham area with their dog. She graduated from Minnesota State Community and Technical College in Moorhead, MN with both a dental assisting degree and a dental hygiene degree. She enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband, dog, family and friends. She also enjoys being at the lake, water sports, shopping, cooking and baking.
Courtney, LDH, RDH, BSDH
Courtney grew up in Long Prairie, MN. She graduated from NDSCS in Dental Assisting in 2015 and Dental Hygiene in 2019. She recently completed her Bachelors of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene in 2021 from MSU-Mankato. She loves learning and has plans to be continuing her education in the future. In her free time she enjoys spending time with friends and family, lake days in the summer, and always has various craft projects to complete. Courtney enjoys working with patients and improving their oral health!
Anna, RDH
Anna is a Licensed Dental Hygienist. She graduated from Minnesota State Community and Technical College in 2015, then moved back to her hometown of Park Rapids, MN. She strives to always impact her patients in a positive way and loves educating and interacting with them. Her number one passion in life is being a mom and she loves any kind of adventure or new thing to try. Traveling, camping, and fishing are just a few all time favorite things to do with her family.
Lacey, RDA
Lacey has been an assistant at Woodland Dental since 2001. She graduated from Central Lakes College in Brainerd, MN. Lacey's husband Justin and two daughters Kaitlyn and Keira keep her VERY busy! At work she enjoys "working with a great group of people and our patients here are wonderful." When not at work she enjoys going to a good movie with family, shopping with friends and watching Tiger King!
Kayla, CDA, LDA, RF
Kayla is a Certified, Licensed Dental Assistant and 2004 Graduate from North Dakota State College of Science. She and her husband, Jared, have three very busy little boys! Kayla grew up on a dairy farm near Verndale and enjoys being with family and friends, shopping, spending time outside, sports (GO VIKES), and refurbishing old things to new!
Megan, CDA, RDA
Megan grew up in Verndale and graduated from Central Lakes College in 2018 as a certified and licensed Dental Assistant. She now lives in Motley with her husband, Eli. In her free time she enjoys spending time with family and friends, baking, and being crafty.
Erin, CDA, RDA
Erin graduated from Central Lakes College in Brainerd as a Dental Assistant in 2020. She grew up a few miles out of Sebeka on the Red Eye River. Erin's hobbies include hunting, snow shoeing, swimming, reading, gardening, baking, and spending time with family.
Janet, Patient Relations CDA, RDA
Jan graduated from the Moorhead Tech Dental Assisting Program in 1979 and has over 40 years of experience! She began working in Wadena in 1986. She feels the best part of her job are the relationships she's built with patients over the years. Jan lives in Ottertail with her husband Wayne. She has 2 grown daughters and 5 grandchildren. Jan's hobbies include collecting antique dishes, sewing, gardening and spending as much time as possible with family.
Jessica, Insurance Coordinator, RDA, CDA
Jessica has been with Woodland Dental since 2007. She has also been married to her husband Steve since 2007. That was an exciting year! Jessica's hobbies include reading and doing crafts with her daughter. Her organization skills are crucial for her role as the Insurance Coordinator at Woodland Dental. Navigating the ins and outs of insurance can be confusing, but Jessica strives to help patients every way she can.
Kianna, Patient Coodinator, RDA, CDA
Kianna graduated from Central Lakes College in Brainerd as a Dental Assistant in 2008. Kianna and her husband David live in Scandia Valley with their three wonderful kids. When not working, she likes to take her kids on a bike ride to a beautiful park just down the road a few miles and have a picnic. She also enjoys doing things with David such as snowmobiling, hunting, and going for a ride on the motorcycle.
